Early Interventionist – Supporting Toddlers & Families (Bay Area)

About Us:
Lexis Pediatric Speech Therapy is a growing team of Speech-Language Pathologists and Early Interventionists providing developmental services to infants and toddlers through the Early Start Program (Regional Center). Our mission is to support every child’s communication, play, and social-emotional growth — and to empower families through coaching and collaboration.

The Role:
We are looking for warm, creative, and reliable Early Interventionists who love working with young children (ages 0–3) and their families. The ideal candidate has experience with toddlers or preschoolers and understands early developmental milestones.

You’ll provide play-based intervention in the child’s home or community setting and collaborate closely with our supervising SLPs to help each child reach their IFSP goals.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct developmentally appropriate sessions in natural environments (home/community)
• Coach parents on strategies to support communication, play, and social-emotional development
• Collaborate with families, SLPs, and service coordinators
• Complete documentation, progress notes, and assessments as required
• Participate in team meetings and ongoing training

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Child Development, Early Childhood Education, Psychology, Communication Disorders, or related field
• Experience working with children ages 0–5 (Early Start or preschool setting preferred)
• Strong communication and observation skills
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally
• Bilingual skills (Spanish, Vietnamese, or Tagalog) a plus

Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
