Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable BCBA Department Supervisor to lead our team in providing high-quality behavioral therapy services. This role is essential in overseeing the implementation of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) programs for children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in behavioral health, patient care, and special education, ensuring that our clients receive the best possible support and intervention.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor a team of behavior technicians (15-20 RBT's & 4 BCBA's).
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations and assessments to develop individualized treatment plans for clients.
- Oversee data collection processes to monitor client progress and program effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain accurate medical documentation and records.
- Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to support clients' needs effectively.
- Provide training and support on behavioral therapy techniques to staff members.
- Participate in intake processes for new clients, ensuring thorough understanding of their needs.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical terminology and best practices in behavioral health.
- Monday to Friday position, with flexibility for occasional supervision hours on Saturdays
Qualifications
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification is required.
- Early Start Denver Model (ESDM) or Pivotol Response Training (PRT) Certified
- Experience working with children, particularly those with autism or other developmental disabilities.
- Must have 5 + years experience working in a therapy clinic
- Strong understanding of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques.
- Familiarity with patient assessment methods and behavioral health practices.
- Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data effectively.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients, families, and team members.
- Knowledge of special education practices is a plus.
