Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in applied behavior analysis and experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism. This role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing direct behavioral therapy to enhance the quality of life for our clients.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations and assessments to identify behavioral needs.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans based on the principles of applied behavior analysis.
- Provide direct behavioral therapy to clients, focusing on skill acquisition and behavior reduction strategies.
- Collect and analyze data to measure client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with best practices in behavioral health.
Experience
- Proven experience in behavioral therapy, particularly with children and individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities.
- Strong understanding of special education principles and practices.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records, intake processes, and patient assessment techniques.
- Experience in data collection methods relevant to behavioral health interventions.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining confidentiality in patient care. This position is ideal for an individual who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of those they serve through effective behavioral interventions.
