Job description:

Job Title: Psychologist – Provide Quality Care in Correctional Healthcare
Location: Correctional Facilities in CA
Pay: $165/hr (1099 contract)

We are seeking a dedicated Psychologist to join our team in a correctional healthcare setting. In this role, you will provide mental health assessments, counseling, and crisis interventions to patients, while collaborating with medical and custodial staff to ensure safe and effective treatment.

What You’ll Do:

• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions for patients
• Perform psychological evaluations and mental health assessments
• Provide crisis intervention and support as needed
• Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with healthcare staff
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and progress notes

What We’re Looking For:

• Valid California Psychologist License
• Minimum 12 months of recent experience as a Psychologist within the last 3 years (internships not included)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work in a correctional or institutional environment
