Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team to service San Diego County. We are looking for candidates with a strong background in applied behavior analysis and a minimum of 1 year experience working with with developmental disabilities, particularly those on the autism spectrum.

As a BCBA, you will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, conducting behavior analytic assessments, collecting data, and providing training and support to individual clients, their families, RBTs, day program staff, and SLS staff to promote positive behavioral changes.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations and assessments to identify behavioral issues and develop tailored intervention plans.
  • Implement evidence-based behavioral therapy techniques in one-on-one and group settings.
  • Collect and analyze data to monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including educators, therapists, and family members, to ensure cohesive care for clients.
  • Provide training and support to families, RBTs, and DSP staff on behavioral strategies and interventions.
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation, including patient records and progress notes, in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in behavioral health and applied behavior analysis.

Qualifications

  • Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is required.
  • Minimum 1 year experience working with adults, particularly those with autism and other developmental disabilities.
  • Proficiency in data collection methods and analysis related to behavioral interventions.
  • Strong understanding of ABA principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with documentation standards and client assessments.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with clients, families, and team members.
  • Commitment to providing compassionate and ethical care to clients while promoting their independence and improving their quality of life.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $55.00 - $60.00 per hour
