What We’re Looking For in a Clinical Director:
- Leadership: Proven experience supervising and developing BCBA and RBT staff, fostering a collaborative, growth-oriented culture. Ability to provide mentorship, conduct performance reviews, and support staff development.
- Clinical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of evidence-based ABA practices, functional behavior assessments (FBAs), and behavior intervention plans (BIPs). Skilled in designing, testing, and implementing behavior procedures to ensure optimal client outcomes.
- Strategic Vision: Ability to lead clinical operations, streamline processes, and contribute to the company’s growth and long-term goals. Capable of adapting to the unique challenges of a startup environment.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal skills to engage with families, team members, and external stakeholders effectively. Professional and collaborative communication style.

- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with clinical software systems (e.g., CentralReach, Rethink) and ability to ensure accurate and timely documentation of clinical activities.
- Reliability and Accountability: Consistent in delivering on commitments and fostering trust within the team and with clients.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all clinical operations to ensure adherence to evidence-based practices and xyzABA standards.
- Provide mentorship and clinical supervision to BCBAs and RBTs, ensuring compliance with BACB guidelines.
- Lead clinical training programs and professional development initiatives.
- Conduct performance evaluations for clinical staff and support ongoing growth.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of FBAs, BIPs, treatment plans, and progress reports.
- Collaborate with families and caregivers to provide tailored treatment recommendations and training.
- Monitor clinical caseloads, adjust staffing needs, and maintain optimal resource allocation.
- Serve as the primary liaison with insurance providers for clinical reviews and documentation requirements.
- Uphold and promote a culture of excellence, accountability, and teamwork.
- Oversee all clinical operations to ensure adherence to evidence-based practices and xyzABA standards.
- Collaborate with leadership to establish and refine operational systems, ensuring the clinic’s growth aligns with company standards and values.
- Provide mentorship and clinical supervision to BCBAs and RBTs, ensuring compliance with BACB guidelines.

Requirements:
- Active BCBA certification and Texas licensure.
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of successful supervision and mentorship.
- Advanced understanding of ABA principles, ethical guidelines, and best practices.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (must be able to travel to and from the clinic as needed).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliability and accountability to ensure consistency in leadership and clinical quality.
- Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to the dynamic needs of a startup environment.
- Preferred: Experience in startup environments or a demonstrated ability to navigate and grow within evolving systems.
