Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Associate Marriage Family Therapist (AMFT) or Associate Clinical Social Worker (ASW) to join our team. This role is essential in providing therapeutic support to individuals, couples, and families facing various mental health challenges. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in psychotherapy and be skilled in crisis intervention, patient assessment, and behavioral health practices. This position offers an opportunity to work closely with clients of all ages, particularly children, while adhering to best practices in clinical counseling and patient care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions utilizing various therapeutic modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and motivational interviewing.
• Provide crisis intervention and management services to clients in need of immediate support.
• Engage in home and community care to ensure comprehensive treatment for clients.
• Perform thorough patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations to develop tailored treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation, including intake forms, progress notes, and treatment plans while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate case management and continuity of care for clients.
• Collect data for clinical research purposes and contribute to the development of evidence-based practices within the organization.
• Offer Christian counseling services as needed, respecting the diverse backgrounds of clients.
• Support children and families through behavioral therapy techniques, including applied behavior analysis and behavior management strategies.
• Work effectively with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, PTSD, and other mental health conditions.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Marriage Family Therapy or Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current registration as an Associate Marriage Family Therapist (AMFT) or Associate Clinical Social Worker (ASW).
• Experience working with children and families in a clinical setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with medical terminology, ICD coding (ICD-9 & ICD-10), CPT coding, and medical records management is advantageous.
• Strong skills in crisis intervention, case management, individual/group counseling, and behavioral health practices.
• Knowledge of special education systems is a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while demonstrating strong interpersonal skills.
