Behavior Technician ABA
Location: Ocean Psychological Services | San Francisco, California
Job Type: Part-Time, hourly

About the Role:
At Ocean Psychological Services, we are passionate about helping clients thrive through compassionate, high-quality ABA therapy. We are seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to provide 1:1 support and implement individualized treatment plans. In this role, you’ll work closely with a supervising BCBA, make a direct impact on client growth, and be part of a team that values collaboration, professional development, and positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy based on individualized client goals and treatment plans.
Collect, document, and analyze data during sessions to monitor client progress and guide treatment decisions.
Attend client team meetings, mandatory quarterly staff meetings, and professional development workshops.
Create and utilize instructional materials to support therapy goals.
Facilitate individual and small group social skills training sessions when appropriate.
Maintain timely communication, including checking and responding to company emails on business days.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED (required).
Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification (preferred).
Prior experience or strong understanding of ABA principles and techniques (preferred).
Strong data collection, time management, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively and respectfully with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds.
Must be able to provide a minimum of 15 hours of weekly availability between 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM (with flexibility to support weekend shifts if needed).
Please note: Inability to meet this availability requirement will result in ineligibility for the position.

Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit, stand, walk, and actively engage during therapy sessions.
Ability to stoop, kneel, bend, and lift up to 30 pounds as needed to support client activities.
Sufficient vision and hearing to monitor client safety and engagement.

Compensation and Benefits:
Hourly Pay Range: $30.00 - $33.00 per hour (based on experience and qualifications).
