The Butterfield Healthcare Group in Naperville is now hiring a Director of Managed Care - Case Manager to join our team. This position coordinates delivery of services to Managed Care and Medicare residents in collaboration with the various facilities.

Responsibilities:

· Obtain authorization for Managed Care Contracts.

· Obtain authorization for Medicare Part B Services

· Negotiate/Renegotiate Managed Care Contracts.

· Monitor and document the cost effectiveness of treatment provided.

· Facilitate and coordinate the admission and discharge process.

· Acts as a liaison to insurance and medical management professionals.

· Act as resource for the facilities answering questions regarding Managed Care, Medicare Part B services and Insurance.

Requirements:

· Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Case Manager in a Skilled Nursing Setting

· Must have a working knowledge of Managed Care, Medicare rules, regulations, and guidelines.

· Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical procedures.

· Must have knowledge of Laws, regulations and guidelines that pertain to managed care and nursing care facilities.

· Must be able to interact tactfully with residents, family members, government agencies, Managed Care, and Insurance companies.
