Location: Santa Rosa, CA
Schedule : Monday-Friday 7:30 am to 2:30 pm (approx.)
Starting Pay: $23-$27 per hour (based on experience and education)

Position Overview:
As a Behavior Aide, you’ll play a vital role in supporting students with diverse needs, including autism, emotional disturbances, ADHD, and other disabling conditions. You'll work closely with educators and specialists to implement and evaluate individualized education and behavior plans, ensuring students receive the support they need to thrive. You will receive paid training and weekly support from our supervisors/trainers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in carrying out individualized education and behavior plans for students with special needs.
• Support students in their academic, social, and emotional development within the classroom setting.
• Work collaboratively with teachers and school staff to foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
• Monitor student progress and behavior, providing valuable feedback to teachers and administrators.
• Build positive relationships with students, encouraging independence and self-regulation.

Qualifications:

• Experience working as a behavior aide
• Experience working in educational settings preferred.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to connect with students and staff.
• A team-player mindset with the flexibility to adapt to different classroom environments.
• Reliable transportation to get to your assigned school in Santa Rosa.
• Most importantly, a genuine passion for helping students with learning differences and emotional challenges succeed!
