Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Mental Health Liaison to join our team. This role involves coordinating care, facilitating referrals, providing mental health education, and supporting a collaborative approach to wellness among clients, families, and service providers. This position includes an additional 5% weekend differential.

Responsibilities

• Act as a bridge between clients and mental health professionals, ensuring timely access to appropriate care.
• Conduct initial screenings or assessments to identify mental health needs and risk factors.
• Provide crisis intervention and support to individuals experiencing mental health emergencies.
• Develop and maintain relationships with mental health providers, hospitals, schools, and community organizations.
• Coordinate and monitor referrals, follow-ups, and treatment progress.
• Educate staff, clients, and families about mental health topics and available resources.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of all interactions and referrals.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure a holistic approach to care.
• Attend case management meetings and contribute to care planning and service delivery.
• Promote mental health awareness and stigma reduction within the organization/community.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Experience in mental health settings is a plus but not mandatory.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a mental health, counseling, or case management role.
• Knowledge of community mental health systems and crisis intervention strategies.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Sensitivity to diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.

Pay: $29.00 - $34.00 per hour
