Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Social Worker to join our team. Duties
- Conduct assessments to determine the needs of children and families, focusing on child welfare and protective services.
- Develop and implement individualized service plans that address specific needs in areas such as behavioral health and special education.
- Provide crisis intervention and management services to families facing immediate challenges.
- Collaborate with educational institutions to support students' social and emotional needs, ensuring effective teaching strategies are in place.
- Facilitate counseling sessions that promote cultural diversity awareness and conflict management skills among families.
- Maintain accurate records of interactions with students, documenting progress and any changes in circumstances.
- Advocate for children's rights within the community, ensuring access to necessary resources and services.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay informed about best practices in social work.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of child protective services and child welfare systems.
- Proficient in crisis intervention techniques and crisis management strategies.
- Experience working with children in various settings, including childcare or educational environments.
- Familiarity with behavioral health issues affecting children and families.
- Excellent conflict management skills, with the ability to navigate sensitive situations effectively.
- Ability to teach coping strategies and life skills to children and families.
- Understanding of cultural diversity counseling principles to support diverse populations.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
