Job Overview

• We are seeking a clinical care coordinator to become a part of our Dermatology team! You will perform routine administrative assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly. PATIENT CARE is OUR PRIORITY and YOU ARE THE FIRST FACE OF THE PRACTICE! Hiring at all locations.

Duties

• Determine the financial status of patients and their insurance eligibility
• Obtain referrals and authorization for procedures and/or office visits
• Verbally discuss results with the patient and explain plan of treatment
• Schedule patient surgical appointments - Optimize patients’ satisfaction, provider time, and treatment room utilization by scheduling appointments in person or by telephone.
• Respect and maintain privacy and dignity of patients; assure patient confidentiality at all times; adhere to all HIPAA guidelines/regulations
• Participate in staff and educational meetings
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a medical office preferred.
• High school graduate or GED and current certification, if applicable.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with medical terminology is essential for effective communication within the healthcare team.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and staff alike.
• A commitment to providing high-quality patient care and maintaining confidentiality at all times.
