Job description:
A Counselor/Clinical Social Worker is responsible for:
- Providing diagnostic assessments, therapy, counseling, and support services for a diverse caseload including adults, adolescents, kids, and families experiencing mental health issues, communication challenges, or family conflict.
- Assess clients' mental conditions based on review of client information, interviews, observation, tests, and collaboration with other professionals.
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on assessment, clinical experience, and knowledge.
Available modalities include individual, couples, and family sessions.
Client ages range from 5 to 105.
Services are provided via in-person sessions and telehealth (70/30).
Ability to see at least 12 clients per week is required.
Experience and Licensure:
- A master's degree is required.
- A clinical license (LCSW, LCPC, LMFT) is preferred.
- LSW or LPC licensure is acceptable.
- Experience in psychotherapy is preferred.
- Interest in working with children aged 5 and up is a plus.
- Maintain professional licensure throughout employment.
- Maintain professional liability insurance throughout employment.
- Must be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
- Candidates should possess excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
- For internship positions: 2nd year Master's students only.
