Job Description:
The Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) will provide professional mental health counseling and therapeutic services to individuals, groups, and families. The counselor will assess, diagnose, and treat emotional and behavioral issues, develop treatment plans, and support clients in achieving their mental wellness goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual and group counseling sessions.
- Perform mental health assessments and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Provide crisis intervention and support as needed.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records and documentation.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers.
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
- Educate clients and families on coping strategies and available resources.
- Adhere to professional, ethical, and legal counseling standards.
Qualifications:
- Must hold a current and active California LPCC license.
- Minimum of one (3) year of clinical counseling experience preferred (internship experience may not be considered).
- Proficiency in clinical assessment, treatment planning, and documentation.
- Strong communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a diverse and multidisciplinary environment.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $57.00 - $60.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 per week
Experience:
- Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor: 2 years (Required)
License/Certification:
- Professional License issued by California Board (Required)
Ability to Commute:
- Stockton, CA 95215 (Required)
