Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or a related field (required for BCBA).
  • Valid BCBA or BCaBA credential (required).
  • Minimum of 2 years experience working with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities.
  • Experience with dually diagnosed populations (mental illness and developmental disability) preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving, multitasking, and team motivation skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and customer service skills.
  • Valid Illinois driver’s license with the ability to travel between locations.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise program RBTs
  • Provide behavioral support to students and adult clients at agency locations.
  • Conduct assessments, develop behavior plans, and implement skill acquisition programs.
  • Train staff on behavior management strategies and ensure program fidelity.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to address student and client needs and crisis intervention.
  • Serve on the agency’s Behavior Management Committee and contribute to policy development.
  • Split time between agency locations, interacting daily with students, clients, and staff to understand their needs.
