Job Description

At Quest Therapy Group, we are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with teachers, school inclusion staff, and families to support students with behavioral challenges, ensuring they receive a high-quality education in an inclusive environment.

Duties:

  • Provide supervision to behavior intervention implementation providers, consult, coach, one-to-one and group presentations, and classroom support, instructional and behavioral strategies for general education teachers, special education teachers, site personnel, BIIs and others providing instructional services to school students in a general education and special education setting.
  • Conduct comprehensive Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA), write legally defensible effective behavioral analysis reports, and develop Behavior Support Plans (BSP) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP).
  • Develop consultation relationships with school special and general education service providers. Train, direct, and monitor behavior interventions of behavior services team members assigned to work with students with behavioral challenges.
  • Provide interventions and train behavior services team members in behavioral interventions for special education students.
  • Analyze behavior from a functional perspective and develop daily positive interventions.
  • Research interventions, treatment techniques, and assessment tool resources and methods.
  • Conduct positive behavior support presentations, training and professional development as needed.
  • Participate in meetings, including Individual Educational Plans (IEPs), 504 meetings, and other related meetings as needed.
  • Train behavior services team staff and monitor data and data collection, lesson development, and implementation of Behavior Support Plans (BSP) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP).
  • Perform related duties as required.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in the field of applied behavior analysis (ABA) and autism treatment.

Skills:

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required.
  • Experience providing services to special education students; assessing students; developing and implementing behavioral interventions for special education students; assessing student functional capabilities; conducting presentations; and performing research.
  • Skill developing and presenting training activities; establishing and maintaining professional working relationships with individuals, groups, public, and private agency personnel; developing consultation relationships with special and general education service providers.
  • Knowledge of appropriate curriculum and instructional strategies for students with disabilities; current state and federal special education regulations; special education curriculum resources and materials; behavior intervention methodology/techniques including positive behavior intervention strategies and regulations; individual and classroom management techniques; principles and practices of instruction, curriculum, professional development, and assessment in a special education setting; student assessment methods; research basis underlying best practices in special education; diagnostic instruments and their interpretation and application; applied behavior analysis
  • Ability to present complex information on behavior, behavioral assessment, and implementation of behavior plans to special education team members; work independently; communicate orally and in writing; establish and maintain professional relationships; establish priorities and meet deadlines; travel to various locations; manage various assignments simultaneously; work as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $75.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
