School Social Worker

Location: Vernon Hills, IL
Position: Full-Time | School District Support Staff

Pay: From $36-$40/hr, based off experience

Overview:
Blazer Jobs is looking for a committed School Social Worker in Vernon Hills, IL. This position supports students with emotional, behavioral, and social needs within a K12 setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide counseling and social-emotional support

  • Conduct student assessments and create support plans

  • Collaborate with IEP and intervention teams

  • Connect families with community resources

Requirements:

  • Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Social Worker endorsement

  • MSW degree from accredited institution

  • Compliance with state fingerprinting/background checks

  • Experience with IEP teams strongly preferred
