Community Support Specialist – Community Based Day Support

Full-Time | $18–$19/hour | 37.5 hours/week | In-Person

What You’ll Do

In this role, you’ll:

Support individuals in developing valued social roles, friendships, and community connections.
Assist with personal care needs when necessary, while promoting independence and confidence.
Help people explore work, volunteer, recreational, and cultural opportunities.
Encourage and highlight each person’s talents, interests, and skills so they can share them with others.
Provide safe and reliable transportation to community activities and events.
Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with families, team members, and agencies.

What We’re Looking For

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; some college or Associate’s Degree preferred.
Experience: Human services or community support experience is helpful but not required. We provide training.
Skills: Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Comfortable with basic computer use.
Other Requirements: Must have a safe, reliable, registered, and insured vehicle available for work use.
