About Job

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in applied behavior analysis and demonstrate a commitment to improving the lives of individuals with behavioral challenges, particularly those on the autism spectrum. As a BCBA, you will work closely with clients and their families to develop and implement effective treatment plans that promote positive behavior changes.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify behavioral needs and goals.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on applied behavior analysis principles.
  • Implement behavioral therapy techniques and monitor client progress regularly.
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including therapists, educators, and family members, to ensure cohesive care.
  • Provide training and support to staff and caregivers on behavioral interventions and strategies.
  • Stay current with research and best practices in behavioral health and therapy.

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis methodologies.
  • Proficiency in medical terminology related to patient care and behavioral health.
  • Experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum and understanding their unique needs.
  • Ability to conduct thorough patient assessments and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients, families, and team members.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life through effective behavioral interventions.
