✨Join a group of passionate advocates on our mission to improve the lives of youth! Rite of Passage Team is hiring for a Coach counselor position at Tampa Residential Facility, Tampa Florida

Tampa Residential Facility is comprised of multiple co-located residential commitment programs serving moderate risk male youth aged 14 to 18 who require substance abuse, major disorder, and intensive medical services. The programs utilize evidence-based practices to provide comprehensive care, treatment, and supervision. Youth will also receive psychotherapeutic services, including individual, family, and group counseling while at the program.

Pay: $19

What you will do: Coach Counselor provide safety and around-the-clock in person supervision of youth at a secure residential facility. In this role, you will provide for the physical, personal and health needs of each youth through individual counseling and skill development. Coach Counselor provide an atmosphere that is supportive of the youth’s needs; monitor and document behaviors and activities; and participate and assist with educational, social, athletic and recreational activities. Youth Care Workers collaborate with other professional staff to establish and meet the goals of each youth's treatment plan.

To be considered you should: Possess a high school diploma or equivalent ~ Be at least 21 years of age ~ Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug, physical, and TB test ~ Be able to pass a search of the child and adult abuse central registry.
