Job Title: Remote DUI and Substance Group Counselor (Independent Contractor)

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Remote DUI and Substance Use Group Counselor to facilitate group counseling sessions for individuals referred for DUI education and/or treatment. This position is fully remote, offering the ability to work from home.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate engaging, structured virtual DUI education and treatment group sessions.
• Provide occasional individual counseling sessions as needed.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with state and program standards.
• Apply evidence-based practices and motivational interviewing techniques to support client progress.
• Monitor and document attendance, participation, and compliance for reporting to courts/probation.
• Uphold confidentiality and professional boundaries at all times.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or related field (preferred).
• Active Illinois license required: LCPC, LPC, LCSW, LSW, or CADC.
• Prior experience in substance use treatment, DUI education, or group facilitation strongly preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Comfortable using telehealth platforms and basic technology.
• Evening availability required
