Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full-Time Therapist to join our team in West Palm Beach, Florida. This role is crucial in providing therapy, support and guidance to individuals battling substance use and addiction. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a client caseload, facilitating group therapy sessions, and contributing to the overall client recovery journey.

Key Responsibilities

• Case Management: Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' substance use history and current needs.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans: Coordinate with healthcare providers, counselors, and other professionals to ensure integrated care. Monitor clients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed. Provide crisis intervention and support as necessary.
• Group Facilitation : Lead group therapy sessions focused on substance use and recovery.
• Environment: Create a safe and supportive environment for group discussion and sharing. Implement evidence-based practices in group settings, such as 12-step, CBT or DBT. Encourage peer support and community building among clients. Evaluate the effectiveness of group sessions and make improvements as needed.
• Documentation and Compliance: Maintain accurate and confidential client records.
• Regulation Compliance: Ensure compliance with state regulations and ethical standards. Collaborate with the treatment team to report client progress and concerns.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field.
• Valid Florida licensure such as a LSW, LMFT, CAP or equivalent (Minimum of CAP)
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in substance use disorder treatment.
• Experience in group facilitation and case management.
• Knowledge of addiction treatment methodologies and evidence-based practices.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
