As Southeast Orthopedic Specialists continues to grow, we are seeking a Team Care Coordinator to be the central point of contact for patients, providers, and the healthcare team. This role is key to ensuring patients receive seamless, timely care while supporting providers with clinical and administrative tasks.

GENERAL SUMMARY
What You’ll Do
As a Team Care Coordinator (Surgical), you’ll be an essential partner to our physicians and PAs. You’ll ensure accurate documentation, coordinate patient care, and support surgical and clinical schedules—all while delivering exceptional service to patients and providers.

Essential Functions
- Document patient visits, including intake, history, exams, and treatment plans.
- Assist providers with in-office procedures (aspirations, injections, suture removal, etc.).
- Complete disability/FMLA paperwork and call in prescriptions as authorized.
- Triage and respond to patient phone calls.
- Schedule patient appointments and procedures.
- Collaborate with WC adjusters, home health agencies, and nurse case managers.
- Manage surgical and clinical schedules for physicians and PAs.
- Submit or renew physical therapy orders.

✅ What We’re Looking For
- Education & Experience: High school diploma/GED required; CMA, anatomy coursework, or healthcare-related degree preferred.
- Requirements: Reliable attendance, ability to pass a work audit, and provider approval for training.
- Skills & Abilities: Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, ability to type 40 WPM, multitask under pressure, and maintain confidentiality.
- Personal Qualities: Detail-oriented, professional, proactive, and able to handle sensitive situations with care.
