Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in applied behavior analysis and experience working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism. This role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and implementing behavioral interventions to improve the quality of life for our clients. The BCBA will work collaboratively with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive care.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct diagnostic evaluations and assessments to identify behavioral challenges and needs.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and client goals.
  • Implement evidence-based behavioral interventions using applied behavior analysis techniques.
  • Collect and analyze data to monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Provide training and support to families and caregivers on behavioral strategies.
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation, including patient records and treatment notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care for clients with disabilities.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in behavioral health.

Skills

  • Proficiency in behavioral therapy techniques, particularly applied behavior analysis.
  • Experience working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism.
  • Strong skills in data collection and analysis for effective treatment evaluation.
  • Knowledge of special education practices and working with people with disabilities.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records, intake processes, and patient assessment protocols.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients, families, and team members.
  • Ability to provide compassionate patient care while maintaining professionalism in all interactions.
