 Primary role is to serve clients at various food stations and respond to clients questions about food items.  May help with dining room maintenance including: wipe/wash tables; straighten tables and chairs; replenish napkins and condiments; pick up trash, etc. May re-stock cups, glasses, plates and utensils in server area.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serve clients in line and portion food appropriately.  Provide signage for food items.
  • Monitor self-serve areas & stations and replenish food items, plates, cups, glasses, utensils and other supplies as needed.  
  • Help cooks replace empty food warmers with newly cooked food items. Serve “older” food items first.  FIFO.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work station and clear of debris and dirty pans.  
  • Remove trash, waste, and spills on the dining room floor during serving periods, and as needed.
  • Assist with cleaning and maintaining the dining room, such as wiping down tables, chairs, taking out the trash and mopping the floors.  
  • Engage with clients in a friendly, manner and provide excellent customer service.
  • Adhere to client and company protocols related to workplace safety and sanitation standards.
  • Participate in required safety and food safety trainings.
  • This position may be called upon to perform other jobs as determined by the supervisor.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
