Role Description

This is a part-time IN-PERSON teaching role for an Associate Psychology Faculty at Evergreen Valley College located in San Jose, CA. The Associate Psychology Faculty will be responsible for teaching psychology courses in face-to-face modality and offering academic support to students. The role includes preparing course materials, conducting lectures, grading assignments, and optionally participating in departmental meetings and activities.

General Psychology (PSYC C1000) TTh 6:15 - 7:35 PM

General Psychology (PSYC C1000) W 6 - 9:05 PM

General Psychology (PSYC C1000) MW 1:45 - 3:05 PM

Abnormal Psychology (PSYCH 099) TTh 1:45 - 3:05 PM

There may be some flexibility with the dates/times, but not with the modality. Please send me a message if you are qualified and interested.

Qualifications

• Psychology and University Teaching skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Psychology or a related field
• Commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive academic environment
• Previous experience in a higher education setting is preferred
