About Job

We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Supervisor Therapist (LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC) to provide clinical supervision for board-registered associates (AMFT, APCC, and ACSW) and to offer support to licensed clinicians. In this role, you will maintain a small caseload, providing 5-10 direct client sessions per week, which may include individual, family, or couples therapy. The ideal candidate has experience working with diverse populations, including immigrants and individuals with spiritual or religious backgrounds, and is knowledgeable about Medicaid and commercial insurance guidelines. Experience treating children as young as three, as well as adolescents and adults, is essential, along with providing individual, family, couples, and group therapy services.

This is a 1099 independent contractor position requiring a commitment of 10-15 hours per week, offering flexible scheduling. The role is hybrid, with an expectation to provide in-person therapy at least one day per week; clinical supervision is conducted remotely, with in-person options available. Applicants must reside in the Greater Sacramento Metro area.

Must be willing to be credentialed with insurance companies.

The Clinical Supervisor Therapist will deliver individual, couples, family, and group therapy to a diverse clientele. Our team comprises clinicians from varied backgrounds, and we welcome candidates prepared to serve individuals from a wide range of cultural, faith, and socioeconomic groups. Bilingual applicants and candidates from underrepresented communities are strongly encouraged to apply. We value inclusivity and seek individuals comfortable working with LGBTQ+, BIPOC, immigrant, and multi-faith populations, particularly Christians and Muslims. Our practice is minority-owned.

Compensation

  • $60.00 per hour with no prior years of clinical supervision experience.
  • $65.00 per hour with 2 years or less of clinical supervision experience.
  • $70.00 per hour with more than 2 years of prior clinical supervision experience.
  • $75.00 per hour for bilingual candidates fluent in Spanish, Haitian Creole, or Hindi/Punjabi/Urdu

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and adults, including conducting comprehensive mental health assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering individual, family, and couples therapy.
  • Complete clinical documentation following Medicaid (Medi-Cal) guidelines.
  • Offer weekly clinical supervision to up to six board-registered associates, adhering to all licensing board guidelines and requirements. Supervision includes one hour of individual or triadic supervision, or two hours of group supervision weekly, depending on the number of associates and their caseloads.
  • Facilitate weekly clinical support team meetings, allowing licensed clinicians to consult and receive support.
  • Review clinical documentation weekly and provide constructive feedback to enhance associates’ clinical skills and documentation practices.
  • Attend monthly meetings with the Program Director.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience working with individuals and families from diverse backgrounds.
  • Experience providing individual, family, or couples therapy to children, adolescents, and adults.
  • Active licensure in the state of California for at least five years.
  • Prior experience providing clinical supervision is preferred but not required.
  • Experience with Medicaid (Medi-Cal) documentation guidelines.
