About Job

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.


A full-semester contract opportunity is available for a School Psychologist to support K-12 students in New York, NY. This role focuses on providing comprehensive psychological services within a dynamic educational environment, collaborating closely with educators, families, and support staff to enhance student well-being and academic success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychoeducational assessments to identify students' strengths and needs
  • Develop and implement individualized intervention plans based on assessment outcomes
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to support students' social, emotional, and academic development
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) planning
  • Provide crisis intervention and counseling as needed
  • Monitor student progress and modify strategies accordingly

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
  • Valid New York State certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Experience working with K-12 student populations
  • Strong knowledge of assessment tools, interventions, and special education regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
