Job Overview: We are seeking a Licensed Professional Counselor to join our team. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, you will provide counseling services to individuals, groups, and families. You will work closely with patients to assess their mental health needs and develop treatment plans to address their concerns. Responsibilities: - Conduct individual counseling sessions with patients - Assess patients' mental health needs and develop personalized treatment plans - Provide crisis intervention and support to patients in need - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care - Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records - Stay informed about current research and developments in the field of counseling - Provide education and support to patients' families Qualifications: - Must be a licensed professional counselor in the state of Texas - Experience working with children and adolescents preferred - Knowledge of pediatric counseling techniques and interventions - Familiarity with medical terminology related to behavioral health - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team - Proficiency in coding for insurance reimbursement purposes - Knowledge of special education services and resources.
