JOB SUMMARY
The Project CARE (Community, Accessibility, Response, Education) Manager oversees Project CARE’s processes and outcomes in order to increase cross-discipline collaboration, capacity building, accessible services (attitudinally, physically, programmatically, etc.) and efficacy of appropriate services.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide supervision and manage program staff, including training and coaching on service delivery.
  • Maintain trauma-informed, survivor-centered programs through staff coaching and supervision, vicarious trauma-support, supporting trauma-informed approaches to clients, collaborating with clients in decision making and service delivery.
  • Supervise activities and operation of all programming, including convening and coordinating project partners and maintaining collaborative relationships to strengthen coordinated community response.
  • Coordinates and conducts lethality assessments with law enforcement partners, outside agencies, and entities, including staff training, monitoring, tracking, and maintaining documentation.
  • Provides intervention services to survivors.
  • Leads Project CARE collaborative, including convening and coordinating quarterly meetings, executive committee, and biennial conferences.
  • Produce, design, and distribute educational materials for community members and service providers.
  • Coordinate and provide training to YWCA and community partners on issues related to increasing cultural responsiveness to survivors of intimate partner violence who experience disability(s).
  • Provide outreach and education to clients, partner agency staff and community members on the dynamics of domestic violence, personal safety planning and available resources.
  • Complete and maintain all appropriate reporting and documentation including but not limited to data collection, outcome tracking, grant reporting, and outcomes reporting.
  • Lead team in the development of new program initiatives as necessary to meet the changing needs of population served and ensure adherence to best practice standards.
  • Monitor and review client files to ensure accuracy, compliance, and that standards are being met.
  • Coordinate and manage work processes with consultants and collaborative partners regarding data collection, needs assessments and strategic planning process.
  • Manage planning, development, and implementation processes for grant deliverables.
  • Communicate regularly with and coordinate evaluation and technical assistance issues with funder.
  • Writes grant reports and submits necessary documentation to funder.
  • Oversees the coordination and facilitation of support groups, prevention education courses on healthy relations, art-based programming, and outreach events.
  • Manages self-advocacy team.
  • Other duties as needed or assigned by the Senior Director, Community & Court Services

Budget Responsibility
  • Monitors spending using Blackbaud Financial Edge, the agency’s budget management system.
  • Works with Senior Director to oversee and manage budget and related expenses.
  • Approves requests for client assistance funds.
  • Submits invoice requests for partners, outside entities, and self-advocates.
Clerical/General Administrative
  • Responds to routine email, phone calls, etc.
  • Makes copies, prints documents, etc.
  • Files paperwork

Support to Management, Supervisors and Staff

Key Relationships
  • Interacts with Senior Director, Community & Court Services, Project CARE collaborative partners, Project CARE trainers, Department of Justice and Alliance of Local Service Organizations (ALSO) technical assistants, Project CARE Coordinator, Self-advocates; employees of Community & Court Services programs, YWCA staff, volunteers, interns, other social service providers and community members.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Counseling or Human Services field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years work experience in relevant field.
  • Experience with program development and administration.
  • Experience working with disabilities.
Licenses/Credentials/Certifications

Skills/Specialized Knowledge/Abilities
  • Knowledge of criminal justice system (including court, law enforcement, and legal system) as it relates to domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking.
  • Must be flexible with ability to apply mature judgement and confidence with an understanding of the dynamics of intimate partner violence.
  • Must be dependable and able to work independently.
  • Organizational and project planning skills
  • Ability to collaborate with individuals from diverse socioeconomic and ethnic/racial backgrounds.
  • Ability to maintain highest confidentiality standards according to social service best practices, relevant licensing mandates and policies of the YWCA Greater Cincinnati
  • Able to adhere to the YWCA Greater Cincinnati and Department of Justice, Office on Violence against Women & Violence against Women Act policies on confidentiality and code of ethics.
  • Ability to reflect the YWCA mission to empower women and eliminate racism in work performance.
  • Cultural competence and the ability to collaborate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.
  • Knowledge of disability issues required.
