Traveling Light Counseling, a group private practice dedicated to improving the mental well-being of children, adults, families, and couples in our community, is currently seeking a talented Clinician to join our close-knit team.
As a Clinical Therapist at Traveling Light Counseling, you will be responsible for providing outpatient individual and group therapy services to adult clients. Our practice operates from a physical location in Port Saint Lucie, complemented by telehealth services. The scope of clinical therapy encompasses treating adults and families, with specialized focus on areas such as ADHD, depression, anxiety, divorce reactions, grief and loss, HSP, and more.
In addition to these therapeutic specialties, we specifically seek a candidate with experience working with the neurodiverse population. This crucial aspect of our practice reflects our values and mission as a practice and our commitment to ensuring that our services meet the diverse needs of our community.

Reports to: Owner and/or Clinical Director
Compensation is percentage based on income received, and paid out monthly. Therapist must have a niche(s) and be willing to market themselves to grow their referral base and recognition in the community. Candidate must be independent, driven, collaborative, and enhance our fun, connected, and positive minded group of clinicians.

Other Qualification Preferences:
- Minimum 1-2 years post independent licensure
- Prior experience in a private practice setting and a plus.
- At least 1-2 years’ experience post-unrestricted licensure.
- Have at least one niche market for counseling services specializing in the Neurodiverse Population (i.e., children, teens, trauma, anxiety, grief, anger management, etc.).
- No Interns. MUST BE LICENSED!

Minimum Qualification Requirements:
- Master's or Doctorate in counseling or social work; andActive, unrestricted license (PhD, PsyD, LCSW, LMFT or LCPC) in the State of Florida (must be fully licensed). A copy must be provided to Traveling Light Counseling.
- Available to hold at least 25 patient sessions per week in both daytime and nightime hours, provided such sessions are available and referred/scheduled by Traveling Light Counseling.
Hours:
Work hours and schedule may vary depending on patient and Traveling Light Counseling needs. Hours include nights and/or weekends (based on your preference). Therapist is not guaranteed a minimum number of patients or sessions per week. However, it is expected that Therapist will be available to hold at least 25 patient sessions per week, provided such sessions are available and referred/scheduled by Traveling Light Counseling. Patient sessions are held in the offices of Traveling Light Counseling.

Pay: $45.00 - $67.00 per hour
