The Refuge is a non-profit Christian based men’s substance use disorder treatment program offering a variety of best practice treatments. Our long-term treatment includes substance use disorder treatment programming, mental health treatment, residential level of care, sober living, medication assisted treatment, psychotherapies, support groups, case management and more.
Job Summary – This position provides clinical services to adults with identified substance use disorders with secondary mental health disorders.
Evening and Saturday availability required.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Provided clinical services such as assessments, individual and group counseling, case management, and crisis intervention services
- Completes diagnostic assessment, crisis and safety plan, treatment plan, service notes, transition and discharge plan, in a timely/accurate manner
- Maintains accurate and complete clinical record for each client served under Quality Improvement and billing standards.
- Assists in program development and planning as assigned
- Keeps abreast of community resources, educate clients about resources, makes appropriate referrals as needed to meet client needs
Clinician Requirements and Qualifications
- Possesses superb written and spoken communication skills
- Collaborates and coordinates with other staff and service providers involved in client care in the community
- Excellent time management skills; organized and able to prioritize
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with multiple clients
- Able to organize and manage large amounts of files, schedules, dates, and information
- Possesses superb written and spoken communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with clients, colleagues, and community resources
- Self-directed and self-motivated
- Comfortable with building personal relationships and dedicated to helping others
- Decision making skills
- Strong oral/written communication skills
- Negotiation skills

- Ability to relate to and communicate with a broad socio-economic cross-section of individuals

Licensure or Certification Requirements:
- REQUIRED, State of Ohio – LSW/LISW or LPC/LPCC
up to 85,000.00 based on licensure and experience
