Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality mental health services to individuals and families, focusing on a range of issues including PTSD, behavioral challenges, and emotional well-being. As an LCSW, you will play a crucial role in assessing patient needs, developing treatment plans, and delivering effective therapy in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify patients' mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide psychotherapy and counseling services to individuals, families, and groups.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals within the hospital setting to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Stay informed about coding practices, including ICD-10, for accurate billing and insurance purposes.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding mental health issues.

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of PTSD care and related therapeutic approaches.
  • Proficient in patient care techniques and effective communication skills.
  • Expertise in psychotherapy methods tailored to diverse populations.
  • Experience with child family counseling and understanding developmental psychology.
  • Familiarity with behavioral therapy practices to address various mental health conditions.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality and compliance.
  • Competence in coding practices such as ICD-10 for documentation purposes.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a hospital environment while maintaining professionalism.
