University Retirement Community is looking for a passionate Resident Care Coordinator to join our 5-star rated Skilled Nursing Facility! Our facility cares for 37 residents and is located within our expansive Continuing Care Retirement Community in Davis, California. We provide compassionate Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation for individuals needing short-term rehabilitation or long-term healthcare assistance. What You’ll Be Doing
In this role, you will support our nursing staff and collaborate with physicians, the interdisciplinary team, residents, and their families. Daily tasks may include completing nursing assessments, advocating for patients, providing patient education, and covering the floor as staffing requires. Additional duties will include assisting with admissions and discharges, attending care conferences, and creating/updating care plans, among other responsibilities.
About you
We are looking for driven and compassionate clinicians to join our team with the goal of providing exceptional care to our residents. In addition, we seek:
- A current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum of 1 year of professional nursing experience in a skilled nursing setting.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and make sound judgements concerning all aspects resident care.
- Understand state, federal and local regulations in relation to long-term care and skilled nursing requirements.
- Current and valid CPR certification
Schedule
- 11:00 AM - 7:30 PM; 3 days on, 3 days off
Wages
- $45.00 - $55.00 per hour, DOE
