Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Clinical Psychologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mental health counseling and demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality patient care. This role involves working with diverse populations, including children, adolescents, and adults, in both inpatient and outpatient settings. The Clinical Psychologist will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and implementing therapeutic interventions to support the mental well-being of our clients.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and diagnostic evaluations for patients.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and clinical best practices.
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions utilizing various therapeutic modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy and psychotherapy.
- Offer crisis intervention services as needed to ensure patient safety and well-being.
- Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and treatment strategies.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff or interns in clinical practices.
- Engage in research activities to contribute to the advancement of psychological practices.
- Provide support for patients dealing with PTSD, addiction, disabilities, and other mental health challenges.
- Utilize telehealth platforms to deliver remote counseling services when necessary.
Skills
- Expertise in child & family counseling with experience working with children and adolescents.
- Strong background in crisis intervention techniques and hospital experience.
- Proficient in cognitive behavioral therapy, PTSD care, and addiction counseling.
- Experience with psychological testing, intake processes, and patient assessment methodologies.
- Knowledge of behavioral health practices including individual/group counseling techniques.
- Familiarity with working with people on the autism spectrum and those with disabilities.
- Experience in geriatrics and pediatrics is preferred.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality while managing medical records effectively.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Telehealth experience is a plus for adapting services to meet client needs. Pay: $155.00 - $164.00 per hour
