A contract opportunity is available for a skilled School Psychologist to support elementary students at a school located in Oceanside, CA. This position is set for the current school year (CSY) and offers the chance to apply psychological expertise within an educational setting, assisting young learners in their academic and emotional development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments, including cognitive, behavioral, and socio-emotional evaluations for elementary-aged students.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and school staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies.
  • Provide counseling and crisis intervention to support students mental health needs.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to review student progress and adjust services accordingly.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with applicable laws and ethical standards in school psychology.

Qualifications:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field.
  • Valid certification or license as a School Psychologist.
  • Experience working with elementary school populations preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of assessment tools and educational regulations.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
