Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) – Outpatient Clinic
Location: San Diego, CA
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (Hybrid role: 2–3 days onsite, remainder remote)

Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our outpatient behavioral health team. This role provides individual therapy, assessments, and support services to a diverse patient population, with a focus on delivering accessible and culturally competent care. The ideal candidate will bring strong clinical skills, adaptability in a fast-paced environment, and the ability to work with adults, adolescents, and families.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive behavioral health assessments and evidence-based therapy to patients
  • Manage a steady caseload with a mix of in-person and telehealth visits
  • Conduct intake assessments (1 hour) and follow-up sessions (30–45 minutes depending on patient needs)
  • Deliver patient-centered care to individuals with mild to moderate concerns in an outpatient setting
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members including providers, case managers, and support staff
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation in the electronic health record system
  • Provide culturally competent care to a diverse community, including low-income and underserved populations

Qualifications

  • Active and unrestricted California Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credential (LMFT not considered for this role)
  • At least 1 year of post-licensure experience preferred, though not required
  • Bilingual Spanish-English strongly preferred
  • Experience working with adults and adolescents; additional expertise with children, perinatal, or geriatric populations is a plus
  • Strong clinical assessment, therapy, and documentation skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented outpatient environment

Compensation

  • Annual Salary: $85,000 – $90,000
