Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) – Outpatient Clinic
Location: San Diego, CA
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (Hybrid role: 2–3 days onsite, remainder remote)

Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our outpatient behavioral health team. This role provides individual therapy, assessments, and support services to a diverse patient population, with a focus on delivering accessible and culturally competent care. The ideal candidate will bring strong clinical skills, adaptability in a fast-paced environment, and the ability to work with adults, adolescents, and families.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive behavioral health assessments and evidence-based therapy to patients
Manage a steady caseload with a mix of in-person and telehealth visits
Conduct intake assessments (1 hour) and follow-up sessions (30–45 minutes depending on patient needs)
Deliver patient-centered care to individuals with mild to moderate concerns in an outpatient setting
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members including providers, case managers, and support staff
Maintain timely and accurate documentation in the electronic health record system
Provide culturally competent care to a diverse community, including low-income and underserved populations

Qualifications

Active and unrestricted California Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credential (LMFT not considered for this role)
At least 1 year of post-licensure experience preferred, though not required
Bilingual Spanish-English strongly preferred
Experience working with adults and adolescents; additional expertise with children, perinatal, or geriatric populations is a plus
Strong clinical assessment, therapy, and documentation skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented outpatient environment
