Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Clinical Psychologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality mental health services to individuals across various age groups, including children, adolescents, and adults. This role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and implementing therapeutic interventions to support clients in achieving their mental health goals. The Clinical Psychologist will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations to determine mental health needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions utilizing various therapeutic modalities, including cognitive behavioral therapy and psychotherapy.
- Offer crisis intervention services as needed, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Engage in psychological testing to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care for patients with complex needs, including those with disabilities or autism.
- Provide supervision and mentorship to interns or junior staff members as required.
- Participate in research initiatives aimed at improving mental health practices and outcomes.
- Deliver telehealth services as appropriate, ensuring accessibility for all clients.
- Work within inpatient and outpatient settings, adapting approaches based on the specific environment and patient needs.
Qualifications
- Doctoral degree in Psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) from an accredited institution.
- Valid state licensure to practice as a Clinical Psychologist.
- Experience in child & family counseling, with a strong background in working with children and adolescents preferred.
- Familiarity with behavioral health issues, including PTSD care, addiction counseling, and geriatrics.
- Proficient in conducting intake assessments and psychological testing.
- Knowledge of clinical counseling techniques relevant to diverse populations including those requiring special accommodations (e.g., individuals with disabilities).
- Experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of medical records management and HIPAA compliance.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients from varied backgrounds.

Pay: $140.00 - $160.00 per hour
