Location: Westborough, MA - Inpatient Clinical Stabilization Services Program (CSS)
Schedule: Sunday-Thursday, 8:00am-4:30pm
Pay rate: $26.00-$27.00/hour

The Lead Counselor is responsible for:
- Providing quality individual and group clinical services and case management to assigned clients in accordance with Spectrum’s clinical design and in compliance with all licensing requirements, accreditation entities, and organizational standards
- Developing, implementing and revises individual treatment plans for assigned clients
- Completing and documenting all required assessments, treatment plans and transition plans, including clinical progress documentation and billing paperwork in established required time frames
- Providing group treatment to clients using Spectrum curriculum and following group facilitation protocol as trained • Refers clients to appropriate services in the community as necessary
- Demonstrating respect for supervisors, co-workers, and clients
- Attending individual and group supervision and in-services as required
- Refering clients to services using Spectrum’s continuum of care and demonstrates efforts to maximize the internal referrals within Spectrum’s continuum when appropriate
- Participating in multidisciplinary treatment planning, case reviews and conferences
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a masters degree in a mental health, criminal justice, psychology, or closely related field and who has a minimum of two years counseling experience, or has a bachelors degree in any related discipline and a minimum of three years of substance abuse counseling experience, or has alcohol or drug counselor certification and a minimum of five years of substance abuse counseling experience
- Must display use of appropriate independent judgment to determine appropriate course of action in resolving problems and in emergencies
- Express self adequately in written and oral communication and to communicate effectively in an interdisciplinary, culturally diverse setting with clients, families, staff and regulatory agencies
