Balanced Wellbeing, LLC, founded by award-winning and triple board-certified psychiatrist Dr. Pari Deshmukh (Dr. Desh), is a rapidly growing behavioral health company dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered psychiatric and counseling services in skilled nursing and assisted living facilities. We are seeking a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team and support the emotional wellbeing of our patients.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Annual base salary: $80,000
  • Quarterly performance-based bonuses up to $20,000 annually

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual psychotherapy and counseling primarily to geriatric patients in skilled nursing and assisted living facilities
  • Conduct psychological assessments and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop patient-centered care plans
  • Refer patients to psychiatric medication management when appropriate
  • Build strong working relationships with facility staff, patients, and families through regular rounds and communication
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory and company standards

Qualifications

  • Active Florida LMHC or LMFT license
  • Ability to pass Level II background screening (AHCA requirements)
  • Ability to pass drug panel screening
  • Three professional references (LMFT, PsyD, or PhD preferred)
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and computer skills
  • Compassionate, team-oriented, and committed to patient-centered care

Schedule and Work Environment

  • Monday – Friday, no formal on-call duty
  • Work performed on-site in nursing homes and assisted living facilities (not remote)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 per year
