Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mental health counseling and demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality care to individuals and families. This role involves working with geriatric population, while utilizing various therapeutic techniques to promote emotional and psychological well-being.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and diagnostic evaluations of clients to determine their needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions utilizing evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing.
- Implement crisis intervention strategies to assist clients in managing acute emotional distress or crises.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for clients, including case management and coordination of services.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations, including intake forms, progress notes, and treatment plans.
- Facilitate group therapy sessions focusing on various topics such as addiction counseling, behavioral therapy, and family dynamics.
Skills
- Proficiency in psychotherapy techniques including individual/group counseling and crisis management.
- Experience with EMR systems for efficient medical documentation and patient records management.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology, CPT coding, ICD-9/ICD-10 coding practices related to mental health services.
- Knowledge of special education resources and strategies for working with children with autism or other developmental disabilities.
- Familiarity with skilled nursing & community care practices that support patient care outside traditional settings.
- Ability to conduct clinical research while maintaining ethical standards in data collection and analysis.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
