Position Overview:
We are looking for a friendly, organized, and motivated Patient Care Coordinator to join our dental office team. As a first point of contact for our patients, you will play a critical role in ensuring a welcoming and professional experience. You will support the team by managing scheduling, patient communications, and administrative tasks while creating a warm and positive atmosphere.

What You’ll Do:
As the friendly face of our practice, you’ll manage the front desk, coordinate schedules, and ensure smooth daily operations. Your mission is to make every patient feel like family and ensure their experience is as seamless and pleasant as possible.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome patients with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Manage patient check-in/check-out process, including collecting and verifying insurance information.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments to maintain an efficient and organized calendar.
  • Answer phone calls promptly, providing information and assistance, and routing calls as needed.
  • Process payments, issue receipts, and ensure accuracy in financial transactions.
  • Maintain patient records with confidentiality and accuracy.
  • Communicate treatment plans and financial options to patients with clarity and compassion.
  • Anticipate patient needs, resolving concerns promptly to ensure a 5-star experience.
  • Collaborate with the dental team to support smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Uphold our core values of positivity, enthusiasm, attention to detail, and exceptional service.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required).
  • Bilingual (Spanish) not required but is highly recommended to visit with our Spanish speaking patients
  • Prior experience in a dental office or healthcare setting (preferred but not required).
  • Proficiency in dental software (e.g., Dentrix Ascend) is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A proactive and coachable attitude with a passion for growth and improvement.
  • Ability to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.

Schedule

  • General Hours: 7:30-12:00;1:00-5:00 Monday-Thursday; Friday availability only as needed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 36 per week
