Family Support Supervisor – Full Time, 40 Hours per week

Responsible for the following job duties:

· Supports the Head Start and/or Early Head Start and/or public pre-school programs.

· Provides supervision for family support staff including Head Start and Public Preschool Family Advocates and possibly Early Head Start Home Visitors.

· Supports the program overall through participation in quality assurance, continuous quality improvement, performance evaluations, and other administrative and clinical work related to program performance.

Successful candidates will have:

· Master’s degree in human services or related field preferred or bachelor's degree in human services or related fields with 3 years of relevant experience

· At least 2 years' experience providing supervision.

· A solid understanding of or experience in supervising diverse staff with humility, as well as providing support to staff in stressful work environments

· Experience with reflective practice preferred

· Experience in working with or providing family-centered and strength-based services to children and families

· Experience and willingness to work with the culturally diverse populations present among the local community

· Knowledge of infant/ child development, attachment processes, early emotional development, parent-child relationships, and the special concerns of high-need mothers, babies, and their families.

· Ability to organize time effectively to meet assigned work demands

· Ability to express and transmit ideas and knowledge clearly

· Current and valid driver’s license and maintain at all times a motor vehicle insurance policy that carries at least the minimum limits of liability of $300,000 combined single limit or $100/300/100 split limits ($100,000 per occurrence, $300,000 per accident for bodily injury, $100,000 per accident for property damage)

Training will be provided.

Compensation/Benefits:

· Salary: starting at $55,000
