PLAY ABA is currently seeking a few energetic, kid-loving people to join our team as a Behavior Technician. No experience is necessary! We offer paid training that will meet all the educational requirements you need to take the Registered Behavior Technician exam and supportive and engaged supervision. Pay is competitive and DOE.
Behavior Technician (BT) provide one-to-one behavior intervention to individuals with autism or other special needs in their natural environments, such as the home, community, and/or school settings. The BT must be able to follow and execute upon the plan designed by the Clinical Supervisor and collect data daily to document client progress towards their goals. Our current clients are between the ages of 2 and 6.
In order to provide behavior intervention and engage the client, the BT must be able to:
- Get down on the floor
- Lift up to 40 pounds
- Engage in mild physical activities such as throwing a ball, pushing a swing, etc.
- Record data on an electronic device (tablet) or paper
Work Hours: Part time (10-30 hours/week) Flex hours based on current assigned cases.
