- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to determine student eligibility for special education services
- Develop evaluation reports, behavior intervention plans, and recommendations for Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide individual, group, and family counseling for students with emotional, behavioral, or cognitive challenges
- Serve as case manager for students receiving psychological services
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to support student growth and classroom success
- Participate in ARD/IEP meetings and provide expert recommendations
- Offer staff training on behavior management, emotional development, and mental health best practices
- Consult with outside professionals such as psychologists, psychiatrists, and community agencies as needed
- Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and school regulations and ensure accurate documentation
- Masters degree in Psychology from an accredited institution
- Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) in Texas
- Minimum of 2 years providing psychological services in an educational setting
- Knowledge of evaluation procedures, prevention/intervention strategies, and behavior management practices
- Strong communication, organizational, and consultation skills
