Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to determine student eligibility for special education services
Develop evaluation reports, behavior intervention plans, and recommendations for Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Provide individual, group, and family counseling for students with emotional, behavioral, or cognitive challenges
Serve as case manager for students receiving psychological services
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to support student growth and classroom success
Participate in ARD/IEP meetings and provide expert recommendations
Offer staff training on behavior management, emotional development, and mental health best practices
Consult with outside professionals such as psychologists, psychiatrists, and community agencies as needed
Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and school regulations and ensure accurate documentation

Qualifications

Masters degree in Psychology from an accredited institution
Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) in Texas
Minimum of 2 years providing psychological services in an educational setting
Knowledge of evaluation procedures, prevention/intervention strategies, and behavior management practices
Strong communication, organizational, and consultation skills
