Job Summary: This position is in partnership with Integral Care and Texas Native Health, a Texas nonprofit corporation. Texas Native Health aims to transform the lives of the Native American population of Travis County, Texas (collectively, the "Community"). Texas Native Health's mission is to strengthen and encourage the health and well-being of the
Community. The Team Lead LPHA will provide immediate support, intervention, and counseling services to Clients who are
experiencing emotional or psychological crises.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual, group, or family psychotherapy to Clients to address mental health issues, including depression, anxiety, trauma, and other disorders.
- Address co-occurring substance abuse issues of Clients and provide guidance on addiction treatment when necessary.
- Educate Clients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and strategies for maintaining mental well-being.
- Collaborate with Client family members, support networks, and other treatment providers to create a comprehensive support system for Clients.
- Develop and implement treatment plans that may include referrals of Clients for additional services, such as inpatient care or specialized mental health programs.
- Coordinate with Texas Native Health to engage with the Community through outreach programs, educational events, and mental health awareness initiatives.
- Demonstrate cultural competence and sensitivity to the unique cultural values and traditions of the Community and adapt treatment approaches accordingly. Advocate for Client mental health needs, helping them access the services and support they
require.
- Ensure compliance with mental health regulations and ethical standards in patient care and record-keeping.
- Develop and maintain relationships with community partner organizations.
- Abide by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services' (SAMHSA) and Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) best practice indicators.

The Licensed Professional of the Healing Arts (LPHA) provides assessment, triage, and treatment to individuals diagnosed with
mental illnesses who may also have co-occurring substance use disorders and/or chronic health conditions using a recovery based and trauma-informed perspective.

LPHAs work in partnership with racially and culturally diverse individuals to define and facilitate their desired life outcomes. LPHAs conduct diagnostic evaluations and provide assessment of strengths, preferences, functional impairments and symptoms of psychiatric and/or co-occurring disorder(s) at regular intervals to ensure optimal and personalized services. LPHAs deliver therapeutic evidence-based and best practice interventions including, but not limited to: skills training through psycho-education and patient education strategies, individual, family and/or group services, and delivering crisis services with linkages to crisis resources as needed. This position may have additional duties associated with providing bilingual communication services and may require the completion of a language competency test. On-call responsibilities may be required dependent upon unit protocols.

Regular, predictable attendance is considered to be an essential requirement for this position. Other duties may be assigned. May require a flexible work schedule.

Education:

  • Graduated from an accredited college or university with a Master's degree with a major specialization in Human/Behavioral/Social Services or related field required.

License:

  • Current and valid driver's license and a clean driving record required.
  • Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts (LPHA), LPC, LCSW, Licensed Psychologist, or LMFT required.

Experience:

  • Previous experience performing mental health assessments, diagnosis, and treatment required.
  • Bilingual candidates required.

Hours:

Full-Time.

Workdays: Monday-Friday.

Workhours: 8:00am-5:00pm.

Salary: $71,439.68 - $91,078.00 annually depending on years of licensure.
