Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Social Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mental health counseling and demonstrate a commitment to improving the lives of individuals and families. This role involves providing support through various therapeutic methods, case management, and community outreach. The Social Worker will work closely with clients to assess their needs, develop treatment plans, and facilitate access to resources.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide psychotherapy and counseling services, including individual, group, and family therapy.
- Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to encourage client engagement and progress.
- Deliver crisis intervention services as required, ensuring immediate support for clients in distress.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care for clients with complex needs.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Engage in clinical research and data collection to enhance service delivery and outcomes.
- Offer specialized support for children, individuals with developmental disabilities, and those experiencing PTSD or addiction issues.
- Implement behavioral therapy techniques, including applied behavior analysis for children with autism.
- Participate in case management activities, ensuring clients receive appropriate resources and referrals.
- Conduct intake assessments to determine eligibility for services and develop treatment goals.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Social Work or related field from an accredited institution.
- Valid state licensure as a Social Worker (LCSW or equivalent).
- Experience working with children and families in various settings (hospital, community care).
- Proficiency in EMR systems for medical documentation and patient records management.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), CPT coding, and psychopharmacology.
- Strong understanding of behavioral health principles, including crisis management and diagnostic evaluation.
- Experience in Christian counseling or knowledge of spiritual care is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with diverse populations.

Job Details
- Weekdays day shift 8-4:30
- Familiarity with use of electronic medical record such as EPIC
- Individual case management and knowledge of managed care
- De-escalation/restraint management techniques
- Motivational Interviewing and short-term treatment techniques-Brief family interventions as needed
- Strong ability to assess and evaluate patient needs and develop treatment plans to address the identified needs.
- Good communication, listening, and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to be flexible in a fast-paced work environment
- Flu vaccine required
- Current staff will need to be vaccinated
- Active MA license required

Pay: $2,399.00 per week
