A part-time School Psychologist position is available at an elementary school located in the Arvada, CO area for the 2025-2026 school year. This role offers a flexible schedule, working 12-16 hours per week spread over 2-3 days. The position focuses primarily on supporting kindergarten students and conducting evaluations and interventions onsite at the Commerce City location.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for early elementary students, with an emphasis on kindergarten.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavioral interventions.
- Provide consultation on student mental health, learning challenges, and social-emotional development.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to data-driven decision making.
- Monitor student progress and recommend appropriate support services.
- Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations regarding special education and student privacy.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid licensure or certification as a School Psychologist.
- Experience working with early elementary and kindergarten-aged children.
- Knowledge of assessment tools and intervention techniques relevant to school psychology.
- Ability to work independently while coordinating with educational and clinical staff.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
