About Job

JOB SUMMARY

The Service Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the implementation of our company’s services to the satisfaction of our clients. They are accountable for effective communication throughout the operational team, communicating with clients, hiring & firing of team members, managing the schedule & prepare payroll, and overseeing the operations. The Service Coordinator’s primary task by the end of every week day is to ensure Area Managers and Team Members know the day’s plan and are equipped with the knowledge and tools to successfully complete the plan.

DUTIES SUMMARY

Availability

· Part-Time (20hrs/week)

· Monday through Friday

· Remains on call to answer client & employee inquiries and to resolve complaints on a rotational basis

Service Coordination

· Lead operational meetings with Area Manager

· Problem solve on demand with the goal of ensuring client satisfaction

· Create & manage service schedule in operational software

· Modify ops plan and schedule to fit any adjustments

· Fulfill supply requests made by team members and Area Managers

· Plans & prepares team for launching new accounts

Communications

· Manage primary office number and email

· Professionally communicate with clients, applicants, and employees

· Primary contact for clients, provide updates & perform meetings

· Monitor feedback channels of clients and employees

· Respond to client, employee, & job applicant inquires and resolve complaints

· Update instructions & software appropriately depending on communications received

Team Supervision

· Foster positive relationships among management team and team members

· Oversee Area Managers’ completion and adherence to their duties

· Oversee disciplinary action of team members and Area Managers

· Ensure completion of permanent fixes to complaints

· Evaluate staffing data to determine staffing needs

· Open job postings for needed positions

· Perform applicant interviews

· Manage applicant progress and communicate with applicants

· Fill needed positions with qualified applicants

· Oversee onboarding & training of new employees

· Reviews inspection reports and cleaning checklists

Profitability

· Identifies opportunities for improved efficiencies

· Evaluates actual operational performance vs budget

· Problem solves inefficiencies and implements solutions

Support

· Manage supply requests made by team members and Area Managers

· Keeps client account instructions up to date

· Keep adequate storage of backup supplies & equipment

· Identify service opportunities that would further satisfy clients

· Coordinate with partner vendors to supply additional services to clients

· Perform any additional tasks as requested by management

REQUIREMENTS

· High School Diploma or GED

· Must be 18 or older, possess a valid driver’s license, and clean MVR.

· Must possess proficient computer skills

· Must be familiar with Microsoft Excel and Word

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

· Ability to work under pressure and problem solve quickly

· Strong work ethic and service-oriented attitude

· Self-starter and ability to prioritize

· Ability to meet deadlines

· 1+ year of successful supervisory or management experience in the Janitorial Industry
